The long-serving president of the KOF's Sponsoring Association, Ueli Dietiker, has resigned. His successor is Stefan Nünlist. In addition, two new members were elected to the Executive Board of the SGK.
Ueli Dietiker has resigned as President of the SGK after many years in office. During his time as President he made an outstanding contribution to the KOF Sponsors' Association. We sincerely thank Ueli Dietiker for his dedicated work to make sound and independent economic research possible.
As his successor, Stefan Nünlist is following in the footsteps of the SGK President. Stefan Nünlist is Head of Group Communications & Responsibility and a member of the Executive Board of Swisscom AG. He began his professional career as a lawyer and notary before moving to the Federal Department of Foreign Affairs (FDFA). There he had diplomatic assignments in South Africa, Geneva and Bern and acted as personal assistant to Federal Councillors Jean-Pascal Delamuraz and Pascal Couchepin. He then moved to the private sector. After his time at SBB and UBS, Stefan Nünlist took over the position of Head of Group Communications & Responsibility at Swisscom AG in 2013.
Two new board members elected
In addition to the appointment of the new president, two new board members were also elected. Alessandro Bee is Head of CIO Macro & Strategy Research Switzerland at UBS, while Dr Fabian Schnell is Chief of Staff at the Office of Economics and Labour of the Canton of Zurich. The two succeed Christian Mähr, UBS, and Mario Senn, Office of Economics and Labour of the Canton of Zurich. We thank both of them for their valuable and committed service to the SGK.

The SGK Society
The SGK was founded in 1937 to facilitate a regular exchange on the economic situation of companies in Switzerland. Today's KOF Swiss Economic Institute emerged from the SGK. The KOF Support Association is made up of national and multinational companies, small and large firms, public bodies, associations and private individuals.
