Michael Siegenthaler appointed professor

Michael Siegenthaler is heading the Swiss Labour Market Research Division at KOF since 2022 and is also a lecturer at the Department of Management, Technology and Economics. Siegenthaler has now been appointed Adjunct Professor. 

His research interests are in the areas of labour economics and migration. He investigates the effects of minimum wages, immigration restrictions, short-time working and exchange rates on companies' demand for labour. His research has been published in numerous prestigious journals, including the well known journal "Nature".
