The KOF Economic Barometer has climbed in July. After the indicator value remained stable in the previous month, the economic prospects are no longer quite as unfavourable as before. However, the Barometer continues to indicate below-average momentum. The Swiss economy continues to be weak.

The KOF MPC figure for 25 July 2019 is 0.15. The ECB communicated that inflation rates, both realised and projected, have been persistently below levels that are in line with its aim.
