Energy Law

In 2016, the Swiss parliament decided to implement a new energy law which is part of the Energy Strategy 2050 and incorporates a push towards more renewable energy sources and less energy consumption. As a referendum was successfully called upon, Swiss citizens will have a vote on the new law on 21 May, 2017. KOF conducted a survey among economists in Switzerland to grasp their opinion opinions about the energy policy in Switzerland. The results of this survey, in which almost 100 economist took part (out of 433 invited participants) can be found on this site.

From an economy-wide perspective, how important do you think it is to generate energy predominantly domestically? I consider this to be (in percent)
