An der diesjährigen KOF Prognosetagung diskutierten vier Experten und Expertinnen vor 150 Gästen über die Folgen der Zinswende und des gestiegenen Preisniveaus.

Zehn Jahre sind seit der Finanzkrise vergangen. Seitdem wurde einiges getan, um das Finanzsystem stabiler zu machen. An der diesjährigen KOF Prognosetagung zeigten Aymo Brunetti, Oswald Grübel und Jan-Egbert Sturm in ihren Vorträgen und der anschliessenden Diskussion aber auf, dass es erneut hohe Risiken gibt. Einig waren sie sich aber auch darin, dass die nächste Krise nicht bereits vor der Tür steht.

In March 2018, KOF Swiss Economic Institute hosted the conference "Future of Europe" that gathered economists from all over the world to discuss pressing questions related to the future of European institutions. One major outcome of the conference will be an eBook to be published on VoxEU. Find here a short wrap-up of the event.

Together with Balsillie School of International Affairs, the Laurier Centre for Economic Research & Policy Analysis (LCERPA) and the University of Auckland, KOF is organising a workshop on “The Economics of Central Banking”.
